Why Tigers Have There Stripes

A long long time ago tigers didn't have stripes. Did you know that? Im going to tell you how they got them.

In Africa, There were all kinds of animals. There was one kind of specie called ‘Tigers’. They were the brothers of lions. They basically act the same and look the same. But one day, 2 Tigers hated each other and declared a fight. They decided for it to be the next day. 24 Hours later... They meet in the ultimate battle arena. Everyone was there. Even The King. ‘Fight!’ The King declared. They brutally scratched each other and roared fiercely. They fought and fought and fought and fought until they got sleepy. 1 of them died from exhaustion so the other Tiger won. When the Tiger woke up he was cheered by everyone. The King gave him a toast to him and that he can get anything he wants. One day he was grooming himself when he felt a pain all over him. There was Stripes all over him! they were actually scars but they turned dark black like it was apart of him. All the other Tigers that were born to him had stripes and the population grew so fast that no one saw tigers without there stripes because all of them died.

Thats why Tigers have Stripes.

Optimist yachting summary

Before going yachting, you gotta check your boat. you have to cheek the 3 buoyancy tanks. you have to screw them tight so you don't capsize. Sometimes the weather can change really fast. Even the best sailors can capsize in extreme weather.
Sometimes you need to move around in the boat to stop the wind from moving you side to side.

There is no brakes on a yacht. To stop, you need to steer right into the wind and you can slow right down, if you want to accelerate you need to tack, tacking is going in zig-zags into the wind.
Pandora Pond can be really busy sometimes, Sometimes people crash into each other. So be aware of your surrounding objects.
Don't go past the boids because sometimes you will hit a sandbar and be beached. If you are in doubt just call out.
If you follow these rules above you will have fun and be safe.

The king cobra is the longest venomous snake in the world. They can get up to 5.7 meters in length. The King Cobra is averagely 6kg and 3 to 4m in length. The skin of this snake is either olive-green, tan, or black, and it has faint, pale yellow cross bands down the length of the body. The belly is cream or pale yellow, and the scales are smooth. conquering my fears #1

conquering my fears

‘Your turn!’ Dylan chantes at me. I gear up in my safety harness and connect it to the rope. here I go. Alex is belaying me. We are doing the hardest one. I’m looking for a rock and I  reach for it. The first few rocks are hard for me because I have to push myself off the ground.

I climb and climb until I stopp at the hard part. I lift my right foot up and my left hand up. I passed it! I'm so proud of myself because  I couldn't climb that high last year.
I yell out “ I want to go down.”
I flew down like flappy bird flapping to get a new high score. I flop on the floor.

I'm so disappointed in myself because I didn’t reach the top. At least I tried.

Moment of PRIDE: Digi Leader badge

My Digi Leader Badge

On Thursday morning everyone was thinking about there presentation would be enough to get a badge. I was thinking about mine too.  The next day it was Friday morning. It was assembly first thing in the morning. Our class went into the hall after the roll. I was shaking with nerves. I spent almost a whole week correcting my spelling mistakes. I hope they are all right. Miss Hill starts the assembly normally with a song. Throughout the song I was thinking about my digi badge. The moment the song stopped, it was time for the badges to be handed out.

The new Digi leaders are Elijah Casson, Tyrone Harmer, Zach Bibby! I was so excited that I actually got it the role.

That day when I was walking home, my sister checked in my bag and pulled out my letter that contains my badges. My sister opened it and there was no badges inside of it. I think my sister dropped them when she was opening the letter. When I got home my mum arrive from work. I showed her the letter and she said
‘Where are your badges?”
‘I don’t know. I said
